"Crow and the Arrow" MURAL [Fallen Arrows]

50 Waverly Way NE, Atlanta, GA

When I was asked to live paint at Fallen Arrows during the Ultimate Pizza Party event, I decided to do something that had references to their brand name. It just made sense because it’s their parking lot wall. This freehand mural is based off the fable “the eagle and the arrow”, but I replaced the eagle in the story with one of my crows.

The fable says:
AN EAGLE was soaring through the air when suddenly it heard the whizz of an Arrow, and felt itself wounded to death. Slowly it fluttered down to the earth, with its life-blood pouring out of it. Looking down upon the Arrow with which it had been pierced, it found that the haft of the Arrow had been feathered with one of its own plumes.
“Alas!” it cried, as it died, “WE OFTEN GIVE OUR ENEMIES THE MEANS FOR OUR OWN DESTRUCTION.”  June 2018
