Krista M. Jones, also known as JONESY, is a contemporary artist, based in Atlanta, Georgia. She is best known for her vibrant, symbolic patterned based murals and complex canvas paintings.

Natural Lattice No. 1, 72" x 50 x 40", dried ivy vine structural installation. In this sculptural installation, the artist uses natural dried ivy vines and jute rope to create lashing connections between the sections of vines. The vines stand tall and narrow at the top and fan out towards the bottom in an intricate lattice of woven forms. At the base of this structure there is a small pile of broken sticks. These are all a part of the actual vine the artist drew inspiration from while creating the lattice patterns found in her paintings.

40" x 32” x 12”, dried ivy vine structural installation.In this sculptural installation, the artist uses 2 smaller sections of a larger dried ivy vine and positions them intentionally to cast shadows on the wall behind the structures. The vine segments stand upright, balancing against the wall. This is a portion of the actual vine the artist drew inspiration from while creating the lattice patterns found in her paintings.

Natural Lattice No.3, 40" x 30” x 18”, dried ivy vine structural installation. In this installation, the artist uses 3 smaller sections of a larger dried ivy vine and positions them intentionally to cast shadows on the wall behind the structures. The vine segments stand upright, balancing against the wall. This is a portion of the actual vine the artist drew inspiration from while creating the lattice patterns found in her paintings.
